Wow... what a whirlwind it has been! So much has happened since my last post! I keep meaning to post more frequently so I won't have so much to say, but that just hasn't been happening. :)
We just had a GREAT weekend visiting with old friends. Our VERY special friends, the Ryskamps, visited from VA. We had a blast, and of course they fell in love with Dante. We went to Stone Mountain, played lots of Wii and lots of games. They met Ajax last summer, and they could see a big difference in Dante and Matthew's relationship. It's great when other folks confirm what we're seeing!
Stone Mountain was especially cool because both of my kids conquered some fears! There is a new (awesome) ropes course that they've been afraid of since last summer, and they BOTH did level one! Maddie even did the zip line this time, too! We rode the train, and Dante rode in Matthew's lap, with Matthew petting his back as we rode. We also hiked up the mountain for the first time (Matthew and Dante rode the sky bucket up to the top with Jay). It was a great day, and Dante did great.
It was so wonderful having them here... our time together just always goes too fast! So many games, so little time!
