1. What do you love most about mom?
Matthew: That she has never given up on me.
Maddie: That you love me no matter what.
Jeff: That you are such an amazing mom and wife... you put our needs and taking care of/loving us above your own.
1. What is your favorite memory of/with Mom?
Matthew: serving the homeless together with YMSL
Maddie: the times we just talk and end up laughing really hard
Jeff: our trips to St. John
2. What is your funniest memory of mom?
Matthew: "You really CAN smell our butts for miles!!" (we were camping and saw a BBQ place called "Joe's BBQ" -- with the hilarious tag line "You can smell butts for miles!"... well, later that night, after someone (ahem) broke wind in our tent, Matthew said "You really CAN...." we laughed until we cried... and yes, it was MOM who broke wind...)
Maddie:
Jeff: Me giving the kids an enthusiastic thumbs up WHILE leaning over the trashcan HURLING after riding 2 Harry Potter rides at Universal... one of which was their very first "big" roller coaster, and they were SO excited. "Mom, wasn't that GREAT?!?!" Ohhhhhh yeah....
Then we celebrated later with Gram and Mama and Papa. It was a great day! A girl movie, dinner at Altobelli's (YUM!!) and then birthday cake (homemade from scratch by Gram and Maddie) and presents... I'm a lucky girl!!
