We've had a great first day at training, and Matthew and
Dante are off to a good start. Dante is sooooo cute. This
experience is so amazing and so humbling. Our class consists
of several seizure alert dogs, a hearing ear dog, some
mobility assistance dogs and a couple autism assistance dogs. Today
was mostly a "meet and greet" day; we get to work tomorrow.
Last time I checked, Dante was curled up next to Matthew in
the bed. He sought Matthew out several times today (which
was very exciting to me), but then tonight he has seemed a
little nervous around both kids... maybe just the newness
of everything.
Can't wait for Day 2, although it might get a late start
if we get the 10" of snow that's predicted!
